Ecosystem Restoration

Kleinschmidt focuses on the use of science to manage surface water, habitat and infrastructure. We are nationally-known leaders in applying aquatic and riparian biological, water quality, hydrologic, and engineering sciences to quantify alternatives that integrate aquatic and riparian natural resources with human infrastructure and needs. Kleinschmidt's interdisciplinary approach has been acclaimed for cost-effectively studying, analyzing and supporting decision-makers by merging science with economic and environmental decisions. Our science and technical staff resources include: fisheries, wetlands, botanical, wildlife, limnology, GIS, hydrology, hydraulics, structural and civil engineering, recreation, watershed planning, and socioeconomics. Depending on the scale and details of project requirements, we conduct and/or manage studies by pooling the most applicable expertise into a tailored technical team.

Our clientele include a spectrum of private industry, federal, state and local agencies, planning organizations and NGO's, and span New England, mid-Atlantic, southeast and western states. Kleinschmidt has the depth and flexibility to work well with either small or large clients to address the unique schedule and budget needs of each job.
