Mr. Stuart is a senior licensing coordinator and biologist with Kleinschmidt. He earned a B.S. degree in Biology from Francis Marion University in Florence, South Carolina in 1986.
Mr. Stuart has 18 years experience in biological sampling and statistical analyses of stream, river and reservoir fish communities in the southeast. He is experienced in resource agency negotiations regarding resolution of complex environmental issues, involving aquatic and terrestrial resources, land use and management practices and shoreline protection in support of FERC relicensing activities. Mr. Stuart has written and contributed to numerous scientific and technical reports pertaining to FERC relicensing studies which have been conducted in southeastern freshwater systems and authored numerous FERC applications.
At Kleinschmidt, Mr. Stuart is responsible for Project Management, preparing and oversight of FERC filings including applications for new license and other submittals. Mr. Stuart is proficient in the use of computers and computer software, hydroacoustics, GPS and digital photography.
